Drifting Sand

Why America bother for climate if you find such beautiful skyline? Recent annoucements by new care takers of what we understand as government, should not be a surprise for the rest of world.They fired a big chunk for people at NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration)many of them scientist, considering it a thankless engagement. Science is not, abolutely not something of on/off kind, like say trade tariffs. It requires continuity, persistence and patience by all stakeholders, for it not only alerts on life and property as present but also a beacon for future darkness. That throws something more serious to ponder. Do Business oriented person fit well for top job like heading a government, expected to deliver way beyond economy? Perspective of right engagement with long term vision for humanity shall only make great nation. No country lives in isolation on earth. Mutuality and common grounds need respect. Abrupt decisions like drifting sands have potential to drain scarce resources to no purpose on long term. There is need for consensus generation on any idea that may jeopardise movement towards sustainability. World forums for deliberations must remain open and participants should not known by color of country's flag they come from rather representatives must leave their identity out at entry doors to such august platforms and engage together to set targets to take humanity towards a happy and fulfilling future for all.
